When I write in OpenOffice 1.1 (oo 1.1.1-4, oo 1.1beta2-2 arabic support
DEBIAN sarge) in hebrew.
With font Arial, If I type aleph patach aleph, the patach stays tajat(1) the
first aleph.
With any other font I tried, the patach stays beetwen both alehps.
This happens also with all the nekudot.
If I type bet patach bet, the patach stays beetwen both bets, no matter what
font I choose.
If I write in Kwrite, Kate, Konqueror, Evolution, the patach stays where is
supossed to be. I donīt know what hebrew font is K* using, but I want to use
OpenOffice and "Ktav Iad" (culmus 0.93-1 DEBIAN Sarge)
The problem are the fonts or the arabic support for OO.
Anyway, why the "middle east" or "Right to Left", or "semitic" languages
support is named "arabic" ?
(1) I know the list language is english, but right now I canīt find in my
brain the english word for "tajat"
