Interesting to hear that.
I'm no hardware guru by any measure, but from the sidelines I got the
impression that:
1. AMD indeed had heating problems at the beginning a few years ago.
2. AMD's rep in Israel doesn't know how to market it so it got extra-bad
name here.
3. AMD got much better in the last couple of years and major data centers
began to use them to cut down costs. I think I even saw reports about
AMD overtaking
Intel itself in some markets.
When was your experience and with which hardware?
