" An OS level, 'DDS Backup' solution is available with every DDS
dedicated server. This type of backup is superior because it "mirrors"
your entire hosting environment and can restore a complete server
configuration and not just certain directories like most other backup
solutions. This level of data protection can significantly reduce the
downtime and cost of data corruption or loss. For additional data
protection, each DDS server also comes with a stateful packet inspection
firewall installed and ready for you to configure. If you are not a
Linux firewall expert, RackForce will manage this firewall for you for a
small monthly fee. "

This is just a single example. It's not even the cheapest account from
this provider which also comes equipped with:

Plesk 7 - 30 Domains
5 GB Partition
Unmetered T1 Connection
2 Static IP Addresses

and It's a full VPS soltuion - root access and all. Needless to say,
we're speaking about a Linux host here :-)

I would be very very happy to pay more to get the same thing from an
Israeli provider and more important, with ~40msec avg delay from the
current ADSL connected machine rather then the usuall ~300+ ms delay
from US based providers.

Go ahead, make my day :-)

As I said, I can assist with the technology aspect of building the
thing, if they need.

Cheers,
