I don't think those count as a community, just like you don't count the
technical support IBM/CA/Ankor etc. give to Linux as a "community". A
cumminity is run by it's users, not by financial interests.
The very fact that those *BSD users I am aware of (and I am aware of a
few) are not aware of a community is a bad omen.
I would love to be proven wrong.
