OK, guess I deserved that answer. Of course it's obvious when you think about
it that way, as in 'why would people make this particular pronunciation error
and not a different one (lie-nucks anyone?)'. I was thinking more along the
lines of 'why would people make any error at all and confuse me', so I must
be far too tired to go on posting... off to bed.
