happy april fool's day everyone :)
well i guess timing is lots of things ... one of those things being comical
irony.
the news: with the help of my dear friend simba, we reinstalled the
rp-pppoe-3.5 program on the linux box here, and this time, it worked with no
problem.
how we did it: after installing with the default settings on every option,
we ran ./go and it connected right away to the net, and the connection seems
ok for now ... anyone here have any comparitive data btween this modem and
the alcatel or orckit?
anyway ... didja hear the news? "Saddam wins!" (April Fool's!)
and thanks for the help to everyone that was so ... helpful (duh!)
cheers,
yasha harari
