permission problem on /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer

Hi,

I think that due to installation of KDE 3.2.1 on RH9 built from source I
got this problem with kmix.
When I start kmix I get an error regarding the device /dev/dsp. When
looking into it I found that both /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer did not change
ownership to my login-id and are owned by root. When manually modifying
ownership with chown I grant permission and kmix works fine. When tried
to set the setuid bit on kmix I got an error message that it is not allowed.
