I believe I found my solution :
You need to edit the file 'localconfig' which is located inside your
bugzilla installation directory. In that file, edit the variable
'@platforms' which contains a comma separated list of platforms, after
that you need to run './checkconfig.pl' for the changes to be written
back to the database and the internal template caching system of
bugzilla (which is why I haven't seen the web interface being affected
by the changes I've made to the database).
