Firts, thanks for the quick response.
I got the Linux part done readily - SuSE is a bit different but it's
easy enough to find the relevant files. (Some of the changes could be
done through YaST).
The remaining bit is bashing Win98 and Win 2K around, which I'll take up
elsewhere. I haven't tested a Linux client yet, but I guess that'll come
very soon - and I expect easily!
For what it's worth, when things are working, I'll post a brief summary
to the list.
