I have seen what you speak of. The install does not use fontconfig, and it
needs the old font setup. In Mandrake 9.2, the fonts are installed, and I
think gtk1 is not set up to use them. I think the install is gtkl1 based or
something. I will dig in and try to find what's wrong.
