I'm about to get a second computer at home and need to connect it
to my network through WiFi. I therefore need get a linux compatible
802.11g card. Searching through the net it appears that the Prism
based cards are the best supported under Linux. See:
http://prism54.org/supported_cards.php
Among these I was impressed by SMC commitment to Linux on their home
page. I thus thought to get the SMC2802W card. See:
http://www.smc-asia.com/index.php?option=displaypage&Itemid=183&op=page&SubMenu=
My question is if anyone has any experince with this card, or any other
positive experience they may share. I would also appreciate if it is
possible to purchase the card in Israel, so if you have some retailer
info I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Dov
